IC: Dogs in the Vineyard or Monster of the Week
So, these are two really differently flavored games I've been thinking about running, but I think what is drawing me to them right now is their episodic nature. You ride as a team into a town where something is wrong and find a way to fix it before moving on to the next (with a bit of recurring characters/plots)
In Dogs in the Vineyard, the town's problem is that it's full of pride and sin and demons (either metaphorical or literal), while in Monster of the Week, it's probably being attacked by a ghost or swarm of alien insects.
Anyway, both are moderately rules light, and have what I find to be interesting conflict resolution.
I would probably run Dogs in the given pseudo-Utah-proto-Mormon setting and Monster based on playbook choices and character creation (The Professional may make it more X-Files, while The Chosen leans more Buffy, etc).
Thoughts? Interest?
