always!

So far, every M&M 3e game I've ever set up or been part of fills up to overflowing almost instantly. Anyone who wants to GM such a game is guaranteed an audience. I have one of my own and am considering a second.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have done many different themes but often have a hard time getting players to all agree on one style of play.

Would prefer to run something that is character driven and high role play. The last M&M game I ran I felt like I had to push the players to get them to do anything.

I would *love* to see a non-contemporary setting, whether a sci-fi setting, a historical setting, or a semi-historical setting (steampunk, etc.).

For example, you could have a Medieval or Renaissance setting such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_1602 , where the supers have to be cautious about overt displays of power, lest they be targeted by the Inquisition...  :)

An alternate setting like 1602 would be fun. I'm usually all for standard 4 color settings, but mixing things up and doing something different can go along way to helping keep a game going.

A concept I've used in the past is using some sort of Macguffin to pull characters from different points in history to one central location/ time. It works pretty well giving players a wide option of character creation options and a built in device for generating tension, which can help for the roleplaying aspects.

I'll second the 4-color and macguffin suggestion. I haven't run any superhero games yet, but I usually find that giving players a goal to work towards (like a supervillain, BBE, etc) keeps players focused.

However, what type of character-driven contribution are you looking for?

I'm pretty easy to please, but I do like that Macguffin idea.  Disparate heroes from different times and places opens up all sorts of concepts that don't always get play in a "standard" superhero setting.

The heroes from different times/places seems like a good idea. I'll post something soon. Probably PL 12.
