Thinking about running a Star Wars game. In fact, I'm likely going to run a Star Wars game, but I'm wondering which one would have the most interest. All would be set in the Galactic Civil War period. I'm not super interested in Jedi play, so I would avoid any Force Sensitive characters, especially at the start of the game.

1. Straightforward Bounty Hunter/Fringer game

2. Smuggler/Bounty Hunter game where the players eventually join the Rebellion

3. Imperial agents who defect (for whatever reason), either to go Fringe or join the Rebellion

I'm also willing to look at outside the box ideas, but I didn't want to go too crazy.

I'd be up for any of them but if I had to pick....probably say Smuggler/Bounty Hunter just due to variety of story lines.

Honestly, all are fine. Each allows for a different kind of character and hopefully a different kind of game.

My current thought is to start as bounty hunters and/or mercenaries, and over the first couple of episodes/adventures have some decision points as to who to align with, or stay neutral.

Very much something I think myself and clearly a lot of others are interested in. All those ideas sound fun!

Sounds like a lot of fun. I would have to go with the ex-Imperial one though because I have been in quite a few of the other ones. I will totally play in any of the games though.
