So I want to run a game set in the Metal Gear Solid world, around the time of MGS 4.

The players would take on the roles of highly trained and experienced soldiers running their own Private Military Company. PMCs are common in that world, having largely replaced national armies. So there's a lot less stigma about joining one.

Further, the PMCs are regulated by The System, an arrangement of rules backed up by -- you guessed it -- nanomachines.

My question is this:

Would it be a good idea to adapt the Star Wars EotE rules to play this game?
