As the title says, what has more appeal to people here?

Not sure what the GM had, Creation was using Savage Worlds, i know I had a later ed than he did and a couple minor changes.

And no reason not to do Call of set in WWII. (or WWI)

I personally prefer  Achtung Cthulhu as I like the SW system

I've had pretty good luck running the Fate version of Achtung! Cthulhu at the table rather than PbP. I've never played SW (although I own it and several settings as well) of any variety so have little to offer on that front.

I'm learning the SW system and it seems very playable in most settings.

So...

IF I were to offer a Savage Worlds game set in the very early stages of WW2, would there be much interest?

IF such a game were to be run, it wouldn't begin until the new year, maybe the middle of January.

I was thinking of setting the game at the start of the war, with players part of the B.E.F.

Savage Worlds is fine. I would be putting up full character generation rules for all to follow..

This is sounding quite awesome.

I've got exams to sit at work over the next few weeks, but hopefully over Christmas I'll have time to work on a campaign and write up some Character Generation hints/house-rules based on Achtung! Ctulhu/WW2.
