Calling all pony fans!

I am willing to run a pony game. A more adventure focused one as I'm not great at slice of life.

The specific system or setting is up for discussion.

The systems I have are,
Savage World of My Little Pony
Homebrew Pathfinder (not ponyfinder, I can't afford that)
My own system called RnR: Fallout Equestria Edition (still in beta but playable)

For any of them, I don't expect anyone to know the system before starting. Unless everyone is already familiar with the system, I'll take the approach of teaching the game slowly through gameplay.

There are a few setting choices,
Fallout Equestria
My strange setting
generic fantasy
Equestria
Suggestions are welcome!

Calling all pony fans!

I'm all for some pony gaming;

1) I don't know anything about Fallout Equestria, and I'm not a Fallout fan. So, I'm not interested in that at all.
2) I am willing to learn a new system so long as it's not one I need to buy. I am intereted in pathfinder. I don't know Savage World, however. There are a few really light systems we might use

3) I favor a more showlike model - funny, but definitely a bit more action/adventure as a thing is totally fine with me. High stakes is totally a thing.

4) As for characters - I'm willing to do both OCs or Canons, possibly alternate universe formats with different main characters. I don't inherently object to players with Alicorn, Griffon, Dragon, or whatever else sorts of characters.

My question is  do we want to us  a mechanics heavy game or do we want a more narrative adventure and story driven game? I could go either way.

My strength as a gm is in running sandboxes, but I do have some modules that can be used if players want a more directed game.

Savage worlds is less crunchy than say d20, but still has some crunch. FYI. My system is modular, even the combat can be the simple version or more d20 like in crunch, so can pretty much match the crunchyness desired.

Fallout Equestria is hooves down the best book I've read in years, or even decades, or even ever (actually nothing comes to mind that might beat it. Not many books had me wanting to reread it right when I got done.) And that is saying something since I normally avoid these types of books. But seriously it made me want to cry a few times, and I don't cry over books, so a sure sign of awesomeness.

So three interested folks so far,
One vote for FoE, one for Not FoE.
Two favor Pathfinder, one is fine learning a new free system.

So how does everypony feel about playing in a group of three players using modified pathfinder,
Gestalt, one side caster, one side not caster, spells/classes available based on race
Magic is a bit more common as spells per day are not limited by slots but rather by energy level save, (failing the save reduces available energy and CL for casting and higher level spells are more likely to fail and reduce things even more.)
Plus a few other minor tweaks

All in a ponified fantasy setting with high magic

Hey man, I could probably devote some time to a character.  I'm for almost anything, though I don't know much about the Fallout-EQ series; although, I do know a little about the standard FO setting itself.  I'd be down to try your FO system, I remember chatting with you about it some time ago.  I'm personally a big fan of rules-lite systems like FATE, and *World systems.

Well, we have two votes for FoE, and one who is willing to give it a go, and a no comment, so FoE is what I'll setup.

However, the Pathfinder magic system isn't very good for this setting, so do you want me to basically overhaul the magic system (simple but won't be very fitting to the setting), graft a new magic system onto PF (somewhat simple, but new), or would you rather just use my FoE system (which is similar enough to d20 that I'll even be listing d20 resources you are allowed to use)?

I vote for *world or FATE magic.

Or we just draw a card from the Card Against Humanity deck and go from there...

...All of that is a joke

So do you have actual Pathfinder, and not the Ponyfinder setting, or don't have Pathfinder at all?

Re: Calling all pony fans!

I have actual pathfinder core, none of it's supplements or expansions neither official nor third party.

Now when I say Pathfinder Core, I mean like one from the original print run. I had extra money back then when my family still had jobs.

Re: Calling all pony fans!

Ooh, I just got inspired for an excellent storyline.

I'm starting the game, and we can sort out the system details in there.

I'll link it here when I get it up.

Edit: linky
link to another game
