Pokemon Tabletop Sci-fi

I've been toying around with the Pokemon Tabletop United sci-fi splatbook, particularly the "Babel" campaign.

In particular, what I have in mind is a campaign set in the Heizhou city-region, using a more tech-heavy Hong Kong as a reference. Due to the setting, things such as cybernetic augmentations, pokebots, and augmented reality systems will be rather commonplace. Players would be either playing characters from Heizhou (and thus familiar with the technology and systems) or trainers from other regions eager to try their hand at Heizhou's unique "seasonal league" format.

Essentially, if I were to run such a game, would there be any interest at all?

Ideally, I'm looking at starting characters being in the lv 3-5 range with a level 10 starter (open selection among underdog pokemon, with a few exceptions), probably with around 7500 in starting funds.

I've toyed with the idea of possibly allowing multiple "beginning builds" to better reflect the beginning differences regarding a trainer's background, if that's something of interest.
