So I have an interest in running 2nd edition, and Ravenloft is a favorite of mine. So I figured I would put out an interest check before I put a lot of work into it. I am thinking around 3rd level. There will be elements of obvious horror, of investigation and the like.

Sounds interesting. I love the setting but never got to play in it.

I only have the 3e book of ravenloft, but if the 2e version is anything like it. I'm definitely interested.

I never actually got a chance to play Ravenloft 2e. I definitely wouldn't mind playing it now.

Somewhere in my vast collection I have Ravensloft, but the only one I got to really play was the Original and we never finished it.
Interest I have, ability I am not sure of as I am in other games at the moment and I don't want to over do my brain. (Burn out is not fun)

Castle? Demi-Plane? Something else?

It will most certainly be the demi plane, it will be true to the old Ravenloft, where the mists simply take you to where they want you. I am looking at before the grand conjunction as far as timeline. I am still looking through the material, at the moment.

Hmmmm...fascinating proposal! Are you going with the pseudo-Victorian/Edwardian vibe sometimes associated with Ravenloft or the more "medieval" feel?

That would be awesome... I remember the dark power tables!!!! So funny, that paladin ended up with a demon tail!! :)
