Star Wars: Force and Destiny
Has anyone else picked up the new Force and Destiny? Been reading through it, really like it and thinking of running a game of it.
Every career/spec in it is Force Sensitive and it has a ton of Force power trees that can simulate just about everything I can think of from the movies and tv shows.
The game I was thinking of was the PCs having been younglings (4-6 years old probably) when the Jedi Temple was purged during Order 66. Their 'master' lead them to an airspeeder during the battle, turned them over to a trusted droid, and the last they saw of her she pulled down a clone transport with the Force crashing it into the ground, then moving to engage a platoon of troopers in a holding/distraction action. The droid smuggled them off-world and to the planet where the game picks up 14 years or so later (roughly 5-7 BBY, or around the time period of Star Wars Rebels).
Without a teacher they have only their basic training, have taken other jobs/paths than being a Jedi, but none forget the tragic events of their childhood and still work on their Force skills in secret.
There would be possibilities of coming across the Rebellion, trying to discover old Jedi/Force knowledge or mysteries, and definitely trying to avoid detection by the Empire/Inquisition while having to deal with them day to day.
Players will not start out with a lightsaber, this will be part of the story and an important milestone in their journey deeper into the Force.
So, is there any interest?
