Having owned many of the books for a few years, I have been eager to run a campaign set in the High Science, High Fantasy that is Dragonstar. Think...Star Wars meets DnD. An empire ruled by the ten clans of dragons, currently entering the Chromatic phase of rulership after 5,000 years of benevolent rule under the Metallic dragon lords. Theres an Insurgency to bring down the Empire, though small in numbers originally, rapidly increasing in size, strength, and political clout. You have an ever present mystery of the Dark Zone, a place inhabited by advanced aberrations who desire nothing more than to enslave the universe. You have primitive and not so primitive worlds in the Outlands, with possible way to profit off of them. Most importantly, there is the Principle of Active Morality, which is basically the first amendment of the Empire, meaning that unless you have proof of wrongdoing, a creature cannot be judged by race or alignment alone. Paladins walk a fine line in this campaign type, though not without interesting stories.
Is there any interest in a campaign?
If so, what type? Adventure, Pirate Hunting, Exploration, Smuggling, Insurgency? There is literally an entire universe to explore.
