Any interest in Dread RPG?

I know Dread uses a Jenga tower as the primary mechanic, but I do have a work around for that. While it does not capture the FULL tension of the actual wooden tower, i think it would work just fine. I will get to that in a moment though.

Would there be any interest in a Dread horror game? I am thinking the short game design and open ended apsect of the game, plus it being primarily story telling game, would make it a nice fit here on RPoL. I am actually wondering if we could setup a place of interest with multiple areas to storytell in, each with it's own cast and GM. For example, a huge vacation island that has some abandoned mines (area 1), a rundown castle (area 2), jungle forest (area 3), and maybe a large ship graveyard (area 4). A player jumps into an area that is starting and can play until the die or leave and go to another area.

Each area would have its own GM and stories (maybe even multiple). Granted, this would need to be organized and sorted out a bit more, but hopefully you get the jest of it.

As for the leaning tower of Jenga, here is my thought. Create a column of numbers, 1-60, like so:

When players would be required to pull a block, they would roll 1d60, marking off numbers as they go. The tower crumbles when one row is marked off (10, 11, and 12 for example). If a player rolls a number that has been marked off, they may choose to mark off the next number up or down.

Is there any interest in this, player or GM?
