I got this off of a site with a bundle of other games and think the Narration style may work well in play by forum. If I run- I'd run as is, taking characters from the book first. Additionally, I am not that well versed in the Universe so I would need to take the time reading the rule book and familiarizing myself with the various aspects of the Valiant Universe.

Anyone up for a go?

I'd run it... since we have two voices I may start reading the Valiant setting stuff today at work. We'll see how much interest we get over the weekend- since I work till Monday anyway.

Love the Valiant comics, but haven't seen the game. Is it readily/easily/inexpensively available?

ok- I will be reading the setting stuff this weekend and I also just bought a Valiant Universe Handbook (God, I loved those things when it was the Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe when I was young). So come Sunday night or Monday I plan on throwing up the game and some details.

Sounds great... Will you be restricting character choice or will we be able to choose whatever we want ?

Once I get things set up I think it'd be best to talk it over as a group. I'm looking for input that would help me decide which way to take the opening story- and characters played would go a long way into helping with that.

Also- jamat- you'd ask about if we'd be taking turns DMing or if I would run it full way. My first instinct is to just run an Event and go from there- if others want to take a run at LN I'd be happy to pick up a character. This way we could test the system, play the game, and possibly get a feel on how different roles would be used ourselves. That being said I wouldn't be asking everyone to take a run as LN as much as I'd offer the reins to whomever wants to run.
