IC: Rat Queens-esque

Yet another game concept crosses my brain-meat.

I've re-read the Rat Queens TPB's recently and would love to run something with that kind of attitude and plot devices. For some reason I also want to utilise my copy of (1st Ed.) Exalted: Abyssals and shoe-horn some of the themes and settings in that, into it.

Now would there be much interest in something like that?

Then I have to wonder which system to use?
Pathfinder: Obvious, but too much crunch I'm not familiar with.
GURPS: Again crunchy and I only have third edition.
FATE: Seems simple but I'm not too familiar with it....

Gagh!

Re: IC: Rat Queens-esque

I'm not familiar with the comic, but you could also use Dungeon World or DnD 5e (Much less crunch with lots and lots of prestatted monsters here).

I personally prefer DW for its simplicity; what systems do you have experience with?

Re: IC: Rat Queens-esque

Lamentations of the Flame Princess would also work very well, I think.  It's an OSR style game, and there's an art free version of the rules set available as well so it's easy to evaluate if you don't have it and are unsure if it would work.
