IC: Another Gaming Lounge

So I'm in a gaming lounge devoted to a particular system, and I started a second lounge for the Anime Gaming genre, which consists mostly of BESM rules but has mentioned other systems in an off hand sort of way. The first lounge has been around quite a long time and though it's somewhat slow, I'd definitely consider it successful.

I was considering the possibility of opening a community lounge to get some resources gathered for this system, Final Fantasy 3rd edition. Specifically I think the fact that it lacks a bestiary could be rectified with a little community enthusiasm. I also have other houserules, and I'm pretty sure Xar does too.

So what I'm coming here for is to find out if there are enough people interested in the "Returners" Final Fantasy to actually get some support for it.

In reply to steelsmiter (msg # 1):

Well, I'm always interested in FFRPG (hard not to be with the work I've put into it). I'm not certain there's enough interest out there to make a whole lobby dedicated to it, but I'll toss my two bits in anyways.

Oh, and when I say I've done a lot of work I mean I designed an autocalcing character sheet and helped to design an autocalcing monster builder. >_> So, you know, just a tiny bit of work.

I pretty much always put metric ███load of work in pretty much everything I do. It comes from the fact that after I got d20 out of my system, I went GURPS and never looked back. I've always vastly preferred toolkit games. That's part of the reason I am so willing to play indie.

It's true that these things can take a bit to pick up. I've been in the one sandbox for quite some time, and it has spurts of activity. From about 1/10th of the population. The other, while not nearly so aged experiences a very similar trend.

Neat. That kind of thing would certainly be very beneficial to me if I ever plan to do a License Board. Not to mention making actual monsters easier. And would allow me to test the ideas I have for limit breaks.
