Star trek 'freeform' game
I've been itching to start a new Star trek game since my last one concluded a year ago, but never came round to actually starting it.
The setting would be the 'old' Star trek universe (as opposed to the Abramsverse of the new movies) The year would be 2392, three years after the Hobus event.
"With the Nausicaan raiders attacking remote colony worlds, the Klingons at war with the Gorn, the Romulan Star Empire and the Cardassian Union in tatters, the universe has become a dangerous and volatile place to live in.
The Federation has increased their military production to be better able to handle these threats. Though most of the ships rolling of the line at Utopia and other facilities today are tried and tested warships (Akira, Ambassador, Centaur and Defiant classes to name a few) the Federation has not forgotten Starfleet's original mission. A few days ago, a highly classified project was concluded when the prototype for a new class of ships rolls of the assembly line. The USS Amsterdam. An explorer and diplomatic vessel, it was none the less capable of defending itself from any attack"
The players will take on the role of crewmembers of the USS Amsterdam. It's first mission is one of discovery and diplomacy. To find new allies beyond the borders of currently known space.
The game would be freeform with me taking the role of plot provider more than judge and adjudicator. All the roles on board the ship would be available, from Captain down to crewman.
The game would be adult, not for any specific reason, just because I want to be able to use any topic without restraint (Including but not limited to nudity and sex, as well as violence, offensive language, discrimination..)
