Star Trek: Fall of an Empire
I have an idea, for what basically, amounts to an split in the timeline of Star Trek. After the destruction of Hobus, the star that destroyed Romulus, the Federation moved in to help our former cold war adversary, however, a splinter sect within the Federation, begins to become vocal about what we are doing. They also despise the fact that we have made an enemy of the Klingons with our actions.
The end result is that a small band of people, namely our merry band of players, begins to act very... Maquis-like.
How things play out, would be totally up to the players. There would even be the potential for the implementation of a full on Rebel Faction with bases, ships, etc to spring up.
Initially, the game would focus on Characters transitioning from being vocal opponents of Federation Policies, into actually taking action against Federation Targets.
I am a long time veteran of 4 different Star Trek Play By Email simulation organizations, with Simulation Command Experience, as well as Sim Organizational Command Experience, so the game would be in qualified hands.
