I have been play D&D for a bunch of years now but I have never taken the step behind the screen and ran my own game. But with the release of the 5th edition DMG I am currently working on a campaign of my own setting and was wondering if there would be any interest in a new DM's first stab. Also if people would be interested in taking one night of the week and just posting continuously for a couple of hours or maybe even taking it to a skype/some other voice chat. Happy to provide some details if people want.

I'm perfectly happy to try with a new DM; but given I live in Australia, there is no way I can continously post for a couple of hours or do any kind of chat-medium.

I'd be happy to play as well but I don't have a reliable time every week I could be on for a marathon posting session like you're suggesting.

I've been curious to see how 5ed plays, so sure.  By the way, put up just about *any* game on here and you will get more RTJs than you know what to do with.

I'd be up for it. Be interested in how 5E plays, so far there are things in it that I worry about.
