I was planning on doing a Game of thrones game which uses a simplified version of the A song of Fire and Ice rules.

As I know most people won't have these rules, character creation will be rather simple.

the premise of the game is quite simple. The players will play various members of a (Or in case there is a lot of interest several) noble house(s). They can be members of the family, trusted servants, sworn swords, maesters or even simple smallfolk. The setting will be set shortly after the Greyjoy rebellion, and diverging from there based on the actions of the players.

My role would be limited to playing several support characters and nudging the game here and there, but I'm not actively steering the story, that would be up to the players.

I will be using the ASOIF rules to simulate the fortunes of the houses, and to introduce events into the game, other than that it'll all be story driven and rules will hardly be seen.

Sure, I would be interested. I would highly recommend that you restrict most of the players to being members or supporters of a single house (or maybe two allied houses, for example, houses linked by marriage). ASOIAF games can get out of control pretty quickly and hard to manage with too many conflicting/differing loyalties.

I might be interested. I like the house creation mechanics, if I remember correctly. I'm not interested in re-treading the same characters and story.
