Fabletop Roleplaying System
I've been working on a system for a bit in a "game" designed for working on systems. My intention was to create a system that would translate the Fable video games into dice, or at least put dice resolution to perameters defined in the video game such as Strength, Skill, and Will. The trouble with Fable is that they were never really about party balance. The Hero was the best in the party, or he was competitive with other heroes.
My idea is that the Hero of Oakvale made the wrong choice with the Sword of Aeons and the canonical destruction of the Heroe's Guild may or may not happen, but this time, the reason is different. It is in the time period where the fate of the Heroes Guild hangs in the balance, and Reaver hasn't quite done his thing yet.
So a multiplayer game set in Albion between Fable 1 and 2. It won't be 100% canonical at the start, but it'll be close. I make no guarantees about canonicity past the point where the game starts. Anyone interested? It'll also be a bit of a playtest on my system as well.
Note: This thread isn't for naysayers and people who want to chime in and say they're not interested. I'm not interested in such replies.
