IC: Conspiracy game

Hi everyone,

In the recent couple of months I've been pondering of running a conspiracy game heavily influenced from Dark Conspiracy and Conspiracy X, it will have everything aliens, magic, psi powers and cyberware.

The game would be run with the system at back (that is for the GM eyes only).

I see two options for how to run this:

Civilians - a group of people (civilians and not) that were assembled by some patron to figure out what was going in the world.

The Cell - a more typical group of people (most would be involve in military/intelligence field of work) that would be recruited to figure out what is going on (think Warehouse 13).

My questions to this esteem forum are:

a) would you be interested in such a game and
b) which of the two options you prefer more?

Re: IC: Conspiracy game

This sounds interesting though I'm only familiar with warhouse 13 of what you mentioned. I'd also vote for the cell.

Re: IC: Conspiracy game

Keeping the system behind the curtain is great fun to me. I'd be in if you ran either version.

Re: IC: Conspiracy game

I haven't played DC in years (Decades maybe).  What system would you be running?

I would also prefer the cell.

Re: IC: Conspiracy game

Ok this is a very very timid yes.

I would be willing to play either one.

Re: IC: Conspiracy game

The system would be behind the scene, players would not be aware of it. Starting characters would be ignorant of the "truth" of what is going around.

System-wise I'd be using a slightly modified version of Conspiracy X 1st ed rules but as I said, as a character you will just describe your actions and I will narrate the outcome.
