Warhammer Quest-sort of a version of WFRP Lite

I'm looking for those who have played it before.  An would like to play it again.  It would be the more advanced GMed Roleplaying style of the game.  Not the basic GMless random generated version of the game.

Played before, and quite enjoyed it.

Sadly, I lack the supplies needed to run the game, but I'd be happy to provide another hero to the pits.

It takes some serious stuff to put together this.  I have the materials, and even tried putting together a game for it - but, the amount of effort in getting all of the formatting and information into threads.. whew... I gave up after just the character sheets and town information.

Re: Warhammer Quest-sort of a version of WFRP Lite

I really like the world for WFRP, and I had started a game on rpol for it but then my IRL game took off somehow so it just lies dormant. Not really interested in running a game someone could rmail me and I may hand over the work I've already done on a game. I just have character generation and equipment threads done, since i was planning on running it for people who did not know the system.

I wanted to run this game based off coach houses in Middenland, it was meant for a big group of players (15 or more) where they would go back to the coach house after a quest. I wasn't going to allow anyone in the towns until the were respected enough by that towns rulers. So it does include threads for each town in Middenland (split up by region) and I was working on threads for the taverns. I was intending to do location based threads, instead of a thread for whatever adventure I was running.

So basically I have a framework on a WFRP game that I may not want to use anymore lol.

Re: Warhammer Quest-sort of a version of WFRP Lite

I'm afraid I don't know the Warhammer Quest rules at all, though I'm a big fan of WFRP as a setting.

I've been very tentatively thinking of running a campaign because it is so hard to find one, maybe using a published adventure (because I've never run a WFRP game before.)

Re: Warhammer Quest-sort of a version of WFRP Lite

I been in a warhammer quest game here on rpol. Used google docs excel for the map and it worked like a charm.

I even have the rules in pdf format somewhere so you would only have to copy paste them into the game section.

That said quest is an action boardgame and a little less a roleplaying game but its great fun

Going to have to put this on hold for a week or so.  Because my computer died and won't be fixed for a week.  I'm at the public library now limited to 1/2 hour a day.  Will rMail each of you when I get back to full function.

You you say you don't know a whole lot.  I assume your referring to Warhammer Quest and not life in general.  Have you ever played Warhammer Quest?
