Back in the day I remember some of the first online Role-playing I ever did was on these wrestling games where the players would post promo segments for their characters based on the matches the moderators set up and then the mods would judge them and write out a script for event.
I figured on RPOL we could do a game like this, but use the Wild World of Wrestling: main event edition rules. I figure the players who are fighting each other could work out the matches and promos in PMs and then using the outcomes we create a script/ post for the event with the GM adding in color commentary and polishing off the matches to make them more entertaining.
So anyone interested?

I think it'd be kinda like Pro-Wrestling in the early to mid 90's. Were you have the traditional legend style wrestlers and the (at the time) new breed that is now more established as the norm.
I like the idea of a traditional mixed with the cutting edge.

I did E-wrestling for a long time. would love to get back into it. The only thing is I'm used to "original" character no WWR or old WCW rips? Could be fund if people wanted to play it.

Sounds cool to me. But you typically need a number of wrestlers to fill out a card, would we have maybe a few wrestlers of varying levels (ie some jobbers a midcard and a main eventer)? I know such a thing is suggested in the Old Know your Role RPG but I can't recall if the concept is mentioned in the Wide World book.

Re: Interest check: Wild World of Wrestling
I'd be up for online wrestling roleplay in whatever form it comes. I used to do the old e-feds back in the day and was a part of a couple of WWE:KYR games here that I felt worked really well in terms of mechanics of the game with the RPOL set up.
