Interest: Dawn of worlds?

I have been wanting to run a  dawn of worlds game were the players take the roles of gods.If you do not know of dawn of worlds, it is a fun little Mini game where players take turns creating a world. its a simple system that would run rather fast by PBP standards. Its made to run a max of 30 rounds, if we do 1 round per 2 days that is roughly a sixty day run time.

Is there any interest in this?

Interesting, have you looked at other systems as well like New gods of Mankind or anything? I do like Dawn of Worlds and wouldn't be opposed to playing in that though.

I have not looked at other system. I would not be opposed to looking at them as I like new systems but this one is easy and free.

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

I just found this and I have been thinking of doing this sort of thing as a precursor to a fantasy game here on RPOL. Are you all still interested or are you interested in starting a new game?

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

I'd be interested in a Dawn of Worlds game as a precursor to a game. What system would you use? Pathfinder is a favorite of mine, and D&D Next is cool from what I've seen at least.

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

I'm up for either. I pretty much know DnD 3.5 and I dabbled in pathfinder. I own the 4th edition but ended up never having a proper game of it so stuck with the older stuff.

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

I'd settle for Pathfinder for sure just because it would put us on a similar footing. Though I am not entirely sure how running something like this would work on RPOL.

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

This sounds pretty cool, and I would be completely up for it. My preferred system after the world-crafting would also be Pathfinder.

Re: Interest: Dawn of worlds?

Pathfinder is what I am most comfortable with, though this could be an interesting way to create an alternate Numenera setting. Any ideas on how one would represent the map? The only way I can think of off the top of my head is to allow everyone GM access at the beginning so whenever it is your turn you can edit the map via any image editor then you can upload it into the game. Then, once the world is finished, we can have someone clean up the map, the GM is chosen and the game proceeds from there.
