I picked up Eclipse: the Codex Persona- a shareware D20 product. The overall idea is using a point-buy system within the level structure in order to create characters not restricted by the class system.

This includes different magic styles martial arts, and rules for Lords and Gods called Dominion. I'm interested in seeing how it all works out- maybe by restricting how much of the rest of the book we use or perhaps each character has to stick primarily to one or two sections.

What I propose is more of a test than actual game, setting up characters and looking them over- maybe having some people running little games with them here and there. Not looking to be an overall DM as much as an overseer... of course this means you'd have to have the pdf- but since it's shareware it doesn't seem like that be hard (I'd even link to it here- but I don't think I'm allowed).

Interesting!  There's only one other GM on RPoL who rules the Eclipse d20 rules, but I did think they might be fun to test.
