I'm considering starting a test game for 5th Edition D&D using the Murder in Baldur's Gate adventure. This is mostly a test for me getting used to the system and for players wanting to try out the newest iteration of the rules. If things go well this might convert to a proper campaign, but first and foremost this is just a test game.

I don't mind helping people learn to play, but I'm not going to copy & paste class features, subsystems, or spells from the books. If you don't have the PHB, then stick with what's in the free Basic Rules.

So, would there be enough interest in that scenario to get a test game off the ground?

I'm game. I'd like to kick the tires of the new edition, and see how it plays.

I'd also be interested in playing in this.  Mostly as a way to get a feel for the 5e rules.  I've not played the Murders adventure before, but it sounds interesting as well.
