Gumshoe with GUMSHOE

I am looking for interest in a noirish detective game set in a vague "postwar" era. Participants would be cops or even FBI agents in LA. I'd like to use the GUMSHOE rules with a base of Esoterrorists or Trail of Cthulhu since that is pretty close to the right time frame (without the Mythos, however). This would be a more X-Files-ish monster of the week game with am emphasis on investigation.

If there is more than one taker I will run with it. Thanks!

Hey there! I think that sounds swell. I'll look around for my roscoe. I hope not having the rules doesn't put me behind the eight ball. Cheers

Re: Gumshoe with GUMSHOE

I'm down! I really like the GUMSHOE system. I've only ever run games with GUMSHOE, so I'd love a chance to play. Most of my experience is with Mutant City Blues.

Re: Gumshoe with GUMSHOE

I would probably go with a list of custom abilities. I don't think possession of the rules would be an absolute requirement - but peruse some of the character sheets for Pelgrane games (Esoterrorists and Trail of Cthulhu specifically) for an idea of the skills.

www.pelgranepress.com - then look along the right side for the games and "Resources."

Re: Gumshoe with GUMSHOE

I posted a conjectural ability list in the game forum. Please let me know if you can't see it.

Re: Gumshoe with GUMSHOE

Did you search for the game? It's titled "Angels and Angles" and listed under Historical and Horror for the GUMSHOE system. I don't think I can send specific invites so all are welcome.
