I'm interested in kicking the tires and giving 5E a twirl, but I don't want to use Faerun, but instead my own custom world with my own cosmology. Don't worry - it won't be that radically different. Feats and Backgrounds will be used, and starting level will be 1. Alignment will *not* be used, instead moral stances will be determined from the cultures, setting and cosmology present. Who is interested?

I'm always interested in a D&D 5e game. But I am running the Hoard of the Dragon Queen at my local game store as part of the Encounters program. I am able to keep player knowledge separate from character knowledge, but if that's a problem I wanted you to know.

I'd be interested. I'm really digging 5e from the little I have played, but haven't played this adventure.

Consider me interested.  A decent writer here, and I love to roleplay my characters.  Standard fantasy setting, a little gritty, more humorous?  I'll try to build a PC that fits the mood of the campaign.

I have the PHB, but haven't gotten to try it in a game yet. I'm up for kicking the tires on the new system.
