Its almost Halloween and so I have the time to do something a bit more now and would love to run an Intrigue/Horror Game set in the Shadow Rift area of Ravenloft. I would love the chance to use the Shadow Fey in a different light. My room mate and I had a long discussion about this and so I was wondering if anyone else would be on board.

People could play Shadowfey members or characters the mists have just recently stolen, either way it would be something intrigue, danger, combat and the like. If I can get enough interest I will set up a game. (It would be gestalt, and Adult for books, and player freedom. )

Sounds as possibly neat, and I quite liked the Shadowfey in Ravenloft, they had potential. Depends on specific premise, starting level, all such things, but the basic notion is engaging.

I'd definitely key in on such a game if you put it up. Gestalt's not usually my thing, buuut I've enjoyed your games enough in the past to work with such a hurdle! I think the only hang-up for me, would be on your intended party size. Especially in a game like that, it'd be easy to get lost in a crowd.

have you seen the new advanced class book from pathfinder?  they are a better version of gestalt IMO.

this is a 3.5 game though.

Yeah, gestalt is a bit of an issue for me, but everything else sounds good. Have to think on this.

Love Ravenloft and gestalt, I'd be interested if you put it together!

for what it's worth, I do like gestalt for my own part, and the idea of a potentially wide player group to muck about with has at least potential.

I've only ever gotten to venture to Ravenloft once, and loved it. I'd love to go back!

I do enjoy Gestalt 3.5 games, generally somewhat dependent on what books are permitted.

As for Ravenloft: While I am interested in what I've heard, I'm not extremely familiar with the setting. I know enough to avoid the truly outlandish characters (they will get lynched), I know little about the actual realms. So I suppose I'd make a good candidate for some poor soul snatched by the mists.
