My original idea is a free-form Star Wars game set several centuries BBY (after the KOTOR/SWTOR era).

Characters will be Initiates about to be selected for Padawan training by various Jedi Knights and Masters. The early stages of the game will focus on character interaction in the relatively insular world of the Jedi Order in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, with this very early phase of the game culminating in the annual Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament that will end in players being selected by various Knights and Masters for Padawan training.

The rest of the game will be focused on individual one-on-one adventures with the masters and their player Padawans, with Coruscant acting as a down-time hub and a progression point for the larger story. There will be crossovers between the various adventures and opportunities for multiplayer adventures as well as the game's story unfolds.

I'm going to run it as free-form since I'm very new to GM'ing and I have no experience with any of the Star Wars RPG systems. Depending on interest and player numbers, as well as my own creativity, I may also need a Co-GM to help me run things. Also, if anyone could point me towards resources/ideas for creating Star Wars campaigns or short adventure scenarios it would be very much appreciated.

Color me intrigued.

Some questions: Would players have the option to be a Master, or were you planning to NPC all the Masters, with players just as Padawans? If the latter, which age group would we start in?

Would there be any limitations on races, lightsaber styles/colors, etc.? Within reason, of course; I'm assuming we can't dual-wield lightstaff Dark Sabers.
