So I'm considering creating a game that would take place in "The World" from the universe of dotHack.  It would probably be a version following the one seen in GU.  There might also be opportunity for roleplaying the "players" of the characters as well.

I considered freeform, but with the inherent "MMO" aspect and levels, I don't feel that would do the universe justice.  As such, if I did this I would develop a game mechanics system for it, though probably rather simple.

I'm posting this idea just to see if there would be enough interest to make it worth the effort.  Please post if you'd be interested.  Thanks.

I friend of mine used BESM to run a .hack// game once. White Wolf's Exalted might also adapt to it.
