Just thought I would post in here to draw more attention to the possibility of a game. I'm looking for a group that would like to play Green Ronin's A song of Ice and Fire Rpg. I don't really care what time period or if its canon or not so long as its after Aegon's conquest and in Westeros.

I might be interested in something like this. Is there a free set of rules I could peruse?

They have a quick start rules on there website. Its almost identical to Legends of the 5 Rings if you have ever played that.

I would love to play in a game, I have the books though I have never played yet.

YES!  You can count me in for this game.  Now I am by no means a master of this rule set, but I am dying to give it a try.

Setting the game shortly after Aegon’s conquest sounds like it could be interesting.  Dorne would still be free and freakin’ dragons.  I don’t think it’s a very good idea or much fun to directly play in a scenario directly connected to the present book and television plots.  That’s sort of limiting for players and puts a snare around creativity.  What I’m asking for is basically a plot of our own, not directly following the written stories.  I like the idea of playing around in the first few years after Aegon’s Conquest.

If there is a game that needs another I can join. I don't have the book anymore but I've played the system before and am familiar with the RPG/story.
