IC: Pathfinder Adventure Path with Fate Accelerated Edition
I'd like to run one of the Pathfinder APs, but rather than with the Pathfinder ruleset, I'd like to use Fate Accelerated Edition.  I'm not a huge fan of d20 or its derivations all that much anymore. That's why I want to use a simpler system that would get out of the way of what's more important to me, which is the story.

And rather than using Golarion, the default Pathfinder campaign setting, I'd want to use my own homebrew fantasy setting, which would hew rather more closely to literary Tolkien than current settings do. It also takes inspiration from Greco-Roman stories, myths, and fables, as well, with a dash of many other things I enjoy. I can't really say much more about it, without going into too much detail for this forum, but PM me and I can send you a small document if you'd like to see the setting overview.

I'm leaning towards Rise of the Runelords, though I could be convinced otherwise. I think any of the adventure paths could potentially work in this mode.

It should also be said that when I use a module or collection of modules for a campaign that I'm only drawing from those sources in the broadest of strokes. This gives me license to change certain characters, events, set pieces, and so forth. So don't expect to see a point for point running of one of these adventure paths or a conversion of every single NPC, but rather a source for inspiration and ideas in the campaign.

Let me know if that interests you! :)

It sounds interesting. Would you still be adhering to D&D tropes, like needing a healer, and spellcasters not being balanced with mundane characters?

Hrm, no, I don't think I would need to.

I'd like to frankenstein some stunts or abilities from Dresden files potentially but would otherwise love this.

What luck, I'll be using a few tweaks from the Dresden Files Accelerated ruleset as well. :)

No, you shouldn't, but in my experience if players think they're playing in a D&D-type game, some tropes are assumed to be valid and necessary. They're surprisingly pervasive.

Yeah, you're right, I've seen that as well. I'll be sure to put a big note up on that. Hopefully, that'll be enough. :)

I want to aim for once per day, but that's not always feasible. I'll play it by ear. :)
