I'm fascinated by
All Systems Nominal, a game about pilots of massive mecha fighting a dehumanizing war, Forged in the Dark (inspired by the Blades in the Dark system). It surprisingly tactical yet focused on narrative and drama first rather than physics simulation.
It ties in wonderful and fresh design ideas and themes that remind me of various games and stories I enjoy about the lives of real people amid endless war, such as
Night Witches,
World of Dungeons: Turbo—Breakers,
3:16 Carnage Among the Stars,
Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands, of course
Blades in the Dark, and tropes from stories like
Pacific Rim,
Gundam,
BattleTech,
CthulhuTech, even
XCOM, or
Attack on Titan, etc.).

Would people here want to give something like this a spin? I have no idea how well it would work in pbp, but I know its mechanics would do far better than core Blades in the Dark (which requires lots of negotiating before and after each roll that this game doesn't have). Do people care if it's Public Beta?
