I don't know anything much about D6 System other than having played a round or two of Star Wars RPG back in the day. It seemed a flexible and reasonably cinematic system. I may have to give it a look in my
copious free time lately (see:
http://catb.org/jargon/html/C/copious-free-time.html. Definition one applies in this instance, I would think.)
With the plethora of good dice rolling apps available (including the one available here at RPoL), using unusual polyhedral dice (like d30) is not near the challenge it used to be, but I suppose nothing yet beats the sound of clattering dice on a tabletop.
