When the coaches came out, Babs took her cue and joined the players on their way to the locker room. It didn't go unnoticed by Lindsey that it was Adam she ran up to join. Once they were out, Mindy swung over and made the same observation. "Yeah. I guess we all did, including you, Miss Mindy. But Adam did speak up for her in the meeting and go to bat for her against Tracy. But still, yeah. She has it bad."

"Okay, so are you ready to head out to the stands? We can talk about the NFL awards."

Harley was sitting with the other receivers when the coaches ordered everyone to practice. She cleaned up her mess, then hurried down to the locker rooms.

Ben perked up when Sims started calling them to practice. He cleared away his half-eaten salad and hurried off to the locker rooms to get ready.

 Heather was changed and showered she walked into the Den, got a cold power drink and took a seat with her laptop. Heather texted Megan," We are all done I am at the Den ok."

  Megan took  a while  to get back, about 8 minutes Amy is   pusing  us to get this routine  down... we have another  10?..then I'll get a shower, if you want to wait. we have a water break right now::

 Coach Sims   entered the  Den, Fry and  Nevers  with him...  they said hi to Heather.. But   Sims  stopped , he walked over, as he opened his lap top  and   typed away..

Heather smiled and said as she heard the ding of the file getting received. Heather replied, Ok Coach I will let you know what I think.

 They all left as Heather opened the file and saw it was a drop kick. Heather smiled and just started laughing in the Den pretty loudly.

Ben came into the Den and got himself a mug of coffee and sat drinking it.

He hated award shows. Most of the time they involved people he didn't have a clue about busy patting one another on the back when they'd rather be sticking a knife in. He'd never even bothered with the NFL show, let alone a bunch of luvvies self-congratulating. Was he really going to have to sit through two of the blasted things, and that in public? Still, if that was what his beloved wanted to watch, that's what she would have.

 Heather got Megan's text after she stopped laughing she then sent a text back," No problem I am just going over film and a new possible play, I will wait here in the Den for you."

   about  5 minutes   after Heather's text, Megan came in from the lower doors,   Lu-Ti   came in through the VIP  door, which was a good short cut from her office.

      Megan  smiled   at Ben and waved.. she  and   Luti   stooped in front of   Heather's table. they  both grinned at each other. Lu-ti   wiggled fingers at Ben  to join them.

 well..it is a good thing  The Ladies  set up the watch party for tomorrow... The front office  sent  down word that there are   some changes, and  that we  should have  as many of the team together as we are able... Those of   our people who win, will have to make  some sort  of acceptance speech, they won't  Tell us, which ones   are getting   what..But I think  Ben and Duke  will make a big haul...

His heart sank when he heard what Lu-Ti said, but he smiled and put on a brave face. It was obviously something that interested and excited her, so his place would be by her side.

 Megan smiled at Ben... then she  looked to heather to see if  Heather was ready to go. I think we're  opting for a quiet night... tomorrow  and  Sunday will be practices  and   watch parties!...and You  guy a Hitting  on Sunday and Monday

 Lu-Ti said  with a smile,Tomorrow's watch party  should be  eventful.. i can imagine how frustrated the League will be, when they have to  cut back to the Den for our players  to say their acceptance  speeches

 ..If you just go by stats, we should glean alot of  awards. But the NFL is funny,  i have seen  players  who have the stats  and Public opinion, lose an award to a less deserving player, simply because they wanted a certain 'type" of player to win it... Still they cannot block all over our People, so the  Night should be heavy with Dragon awards! Lu0Ti  looked at Ben, to see if he was  ready to walk out.

 Megan  nods with a smile,Chinese  i think? .. and  settle in for a good Movie. That should do the trick.

 When  heather is ready, they would head to the Lot.

Ben looked a bit embarrassed.

"You mean that if I win something I have to talk?"

He shook his head. He didn't like the presumption of preparing anything but he wasn't talented at speaking off the cuff, especially about something like this. Yeah, sure, ask him about football and he could hold forth for hours, but this?

"You ready, my darling. Quiet night at home? Or would you rather go out?"

  Lu-Ti shook her  head, Home, I should think?  we'll be here  the next two nights.. then on a plane  Tuesday night, and we'll have   tons of things to do in  Miami ..exspecially you players.. Ytuo has  done a study on Superbowl week, he  is  trying to manage  the  demands on out people's time.,,Wedensday will be the worse of it.

Ben's smile widened.

"A night at home sounds good to me, but I need to visit the market. I can drop you off at home first. Anything in particular that you fancy?"

He led the way out to the parking lot, speculating about what might be good for dinner.

 Heather smiled and replied," Chinese and a movie sounds amazing Megan. Lets head out, I have done enough film work for today." Heather gets up then said," Well lets hope the most deserving get the awards thats all I care about, lets see if they can do that.  Heather and Megan head to the lot to get into car and head home to relax and enjoy one last relaxing evening before the game.

  People were  showing up..the smell of breakfast foods  Coffee  and fruit ..

  Pricn e and branch  were there   early. Prince was reading over his  notes in his playbook, and sipping a coffee. Branch have  two  dippy eggs, with toast and bacon

Ben came in and made short work of a plate of bacon and eggs. He reckoned that once the season was over, he'd have to keep his level of exercise up and probably watch his diet. Would never do to get fat!

Drat! He'd forgotten to ask Lu-Ti if she agreed to them joining that country club. If they did, he could occupy himself learning to play tennis and golf. That would keep him active, and there was always swimming... Also stop him sitting around whilst she was working.

   the Pair  walked in, a few other Players  waved at them. a couple  players  still looked a bit  sleepy, but other wise  , in good shape.

 Adam  set huis things  down  by a window  table  , then went to get donuts  and a coffee...Mik was right behind him, deciding to get  the Blueberry Muffins that were made today.

 once they gathered their Goodies . they sat down, adam opened up his lap top to go over some of the  things they have already saw. to make sure they were recognizable , at a glance.

Wade arrived at the den, less hungry and more interested in talking football. He still went through the line to grab a muffin and some coffee, then sat at the usual table and waited for the other linebackers to arrive.

  Prince  and Branch where  already there ( see above) ..  Prince nibbling on a  doughnut  and reading through his notes,  , while Branch was eating  his eggs like it was his last meal.

 Cruz  and Sal came in...Harley , just behind them.  Payne was getting  food  with Worth as they talked over some of the defensive  calls.

 Babs  came in looking  around, as   The rest of the trainers  entered as a group. She looked  at Adam..Is Lindsey coming?  or Mindy?

 Mik said, Mins is  hanging   with  Lindsey and  Sage , before they go to the airport.. You can hang with us...?

Adam  Nodded   as he  chewed a  doughn nut with a  closed lipped smile. Babs  Sniled and went to get   her  food.
