Hi, there. I've been running a Star Trek game here using the old LUG ICON Star Trek RPG and I'm looking to expand the game. Set in the Dyson Sphere a year after the end of the Dominion War, Dyson Base is a concerted effort by the Federation to unearth the mysteries of the Sphere, which has a liveable surface area equivalent to millions of planets. There are new species to discover and adventure to be had.

Although Star Trek is an action/adventure setting, we also get into the motivations and development of the characters and their interaction with each other, other Starfleet officers and the aliens within the Sphere.

I ran the Dyson Sphere Exploration Mission for a decade and built up a massive amount of  background detail for the Sphere and the Dobhran Sector of the Beta Quadrant, which borders the Klingon Empire and is handy to the Romulan Star Empire and FASA's Triangle.

Players take the roles of junior officers (Lieutenants and Leiutenants junior grade) crewing a fleet of runabouts. Players may choose between Command, Operations or Sciences departments and may specialties within those categories, from pilots to First Contact, engineers and alien technology assessment experts, doctors and a wide range of scientific disciplines. The sky's the metaphorical limit—adventure awaits!
