A new land mass has been discovered 3 days off the map. King Ferant has christened it Ferantnor and sent an expedition to claim it for his glory. Not wanting to send a large part of his army into the unknown he has allowed adventures to go and map the new world for him on the promise of land rights further down the road. A small garrison have established Port Hope as an base of operation.
Officially the Island is thought to be uninhabited however there have been reports from ships coming in that smoke has been see rising from the interior.
For many years rumours of a land mass in this general area have abounded however a perpetual storm prevented ships from searching this far from land. What has made the storm cease and why now is unknown but officially the King has declared it a gift from the gods showing him alone favour.
