Once Upon a Time, under the Dark Sun of Athas...

An ancient prison stirs, its locks and fetters groan with age and decay.  The force of destruction within roars and thrashes, hungry to be free of this miserable place to rain terror and doom upon the miserable world that has been its jail since time immemorial.

Already its power grows, already its agents lurk and amass power, preparing the way for the grand revelation of primordial chaos.

The Temple of Elemental Evil has awakened...and the people of Athas embrace it with open arms.

A variation on the module "Princes of the Apocalypse" set in the world of Dark Sun.

I'm looking for 4-6 players to undertake the thankless task of trying to be heroes in a place where heroism is plain stupid.  We're starting at level 1, with the Sunless Citadel before transferring to Princes of the Apocalypse at level 3 or so.

Game is rated adult so I don't have to censor anything--not necessarily for adult situations.

Please look over all materials before sending a RTJ, Athas is fairly persnickety in terms of what is and is not allowed.

We are way more than full, thank you all for your interest.

The party is currently level two and just about to descend into the Sunless Citadel.

We have a Druid, a Sorcerer, a Bard, and a Ranger.

I need a meatshield or two to help with party balance.

I am explicitly looking for one or two frontline combatants. Selection will be based on posting availability and party balance.  If you have previously applied, feel free to resubmit or send in a new concept if your old one doesn't fit.
