Life in Dirt Valley isn’t easy, but at least it’s functional. Recent years have brought a surge in vegetation and wildlife to parts of the area, boosting trade between several of the settlements, which also means more targets for raiders and more run-ins with the mutated creatures of the Valley. This has motivated many of the local leaders to put aside their differences and to work together to restore what radio towers they can, and construct new ones, in an attempt to increase communication and protect their trade caravans.

Rumors of an untouched underground ruin have reached the local bartertown leaders, but the area is littered with mutated animals and other hazards. These, in addition to whispers of morlocks have kept the leaders from utilizing too many resources to explore the location. This knowledge has unfortunately reached a warlord in the Valley. Fearing the potential that these supplies will fall into the hands of raiders, the local leaders have put out a call for a team to travel to the mysterious ruin, scout its potential, and recover what they can before the raiders do.
