Haven't got a setting yet, or even specific mechanics/rules. But, with the help of the first few players, I plan on building an open-world setting for a West Marches style campaign.

Bring your ideas, we'll throw 'em in a blender and see what comes out!!!

The general ruleset will draw heavily from Cortex Plus Heroic and Marvel Heroic RPG, among others, and a rules reference thread will be provided/updated as we go.

Benefits:

- No experience required

- More or less any setting is possible, in collaboration with other players. I'm hoping to aim for a kitchen-sink type setting, where anything is possible, with a minimal amount of re-flavoring. See: Overwatch, Exalted, Dresden Files, Numenera...

- Open-ended system that will allow players to build their characters as they like.

Downsides:

- None!!!

We've got a couple players together, and are still open to plenty more! We'll be finalizing the setting in the next few days, so send an RTJ in soon if you want to help with world-building!

If not, there's still lots of room for new players who are just here for the running-amok part.

We've pieced together bits of Numenera and Exalted and hit the fast-forward button to create a kind of Ninth World of Creation!

Come help flesh it out and populate it with your own Exalted characters and ideas in a modern-ish open-world campaign set in a city that isn't actually supposed to be there...

This is a West Marches style campaign in an open world, centered on a mysterious city that probably shouldn't be where it is, in the far future of the Exalted setting of Creation.

Folded into this setting are an Essence-powered item system inspired by Numenera, allowing loads of disposable gear options and treasure hunting.
