Project Thunderbolt is an off-the-books government project under the purview of the Commission of Superhuman Activities. The Thunderbolts are all costumed criminals conscripted into service. Criminal members of the Thunderbolts are implanted with a "nanochain" device for the purpose of keeping those operatives on-mission. In return for their complicity, Thunderbolts are granted better conditions while incarcerated and time shaved off their prison sentences.

This game is an Adult-rated game because of real-world violence and language. The Thunderbolts story is meant to explore the darker underbelly of the Marvel Universe. Please do not apply if you want to play more four-color heroics. Most of the characters are supervillains with various degrees of intended reformation. This game uses the Marvel Heroic Roleplaying Game.

Here's what I want to see from you:

1. Your time zone and ideal posting rate.

2. Pick two characters in order of preference. The current roster is as follows:
     a. Georges Batroc aka Batroc the Leaper
     b. Kenuichi Harada aka Silver Samurai
     c. Maria Hill
     d. Rachel Leighton aka Diamondback
     e. Ana Kravinoff aka Kraven the Hunter
     f. Marco Scarlotti aka Whiplash

There are no other available characters available at this time. Seriously, I won't even consider further RTJs that offer alternates.

3. Unlike other games, death or crippling injuries will be a very real component of the story. If a character is killed or sidelined by a mission, I'd like for you to be open to playing replacement characters. Replacement characters are meant to be surprising, but will largely fulfill the story opening. Is this something you're willing to try?

4. Send me a writing sample of your first choice. Just a few paragraphs that show me you understand the character.
