Shadowrun 5e - Emerald City Stories

The year is 2076. January, 2076. A new year, same drek. The corps still control everything that moves, gangs still tear up the barrens, and Humanis Policlub still beats on meta-humans while proclaiming they just want humans to get 'their fair share'. The world's a mess -- and always has been -- but that's not your problem. You've got a pocket full of Jazz, your hand on a gun, and just enough Nuyen to make it to tomorrow. Just another day in Seattle, chummer.

This game is a Shadowrun 5e game set in Seattle at the start of 2076. The game is rated Adult, so all players are expected to be adults in their region of residence. All I ask for is a posting rate of 2-3 times per week. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message in the game. I won't be checking this thread often, so please do not message me here.

A couple players dropped before the game started. I need one or two more players for a group that is just forming. We currently have enough deckers and adepts, so I would prefer to not have more of those.

Shadowrun 5e - Emerald City Stories

Are you by chance still looking for players?  I haven't played tabletop Shadowrun but after finishing the ShadowRun Returns PC game I got a hankering to give it a go.

I can commit to at least 3 posts per week (that's the minimum I've required for games I've run on here) and I'm often able to post at least once per day.

Having run several games on here I'm familiar with a lot of the stuff that drags games down, and I do my best to help avoid them.  I'm not prone to disappearing - I promise that if I find myself no longer interested in playing I'll talk to you in PMs to try to rebuild interest or to find an in-character way for my character to depart in a manner that makes sense.

At this point I don't actually have access to the Shadowrun 5e books, and I would hesitate to spend money on them before I know if I actually enjoy the game.  Is there an SRD page like Pathfinder or D&D have which gives a stripped down version of the game rules and mechanics?

Also, as a bonus, I actually live near Seattle, so I can lend a little Emerald City authenticity to your game. :P

I appreciate your interest, but the game is currently not recruiting.

We can handle a few more players to form new groups.

I could use a couple replacement characters. We lost a few during character creation. Send an RTJ to the game if you're interested, as I won't check back here until I bump this post again.
