An author writes many drafts before finishing a work. With a book, the earlier drafts are discarded or left to litter the workroom or computer storage.

You might be King Arthur, born and raised in Camelot, or you might be Flash Gordon, battling the Emperor Ming. You've received a Royal Invitation, a summons really, to attend an event of import- The King, your father, is to be wed to the Lady Cymnea. To make sure that all goes well and smoothly, you have all been called to leave your own pursuits and to come to Amber.
