Hello all! Reposting the original so new arrivals can see it in case they start at the end:
Aurzel:
There are plenty of times when people are wondering if they should take the plunge and run a game, or maybe they're forced to step up because no one else will. What I hope to accomplish here is a place where those in that position, and others, can ask questions and for advice on running games to help build their understanding and confidence. Afterall more people running games is always a good thing.
This isn't a place to ask rules specific questions. This is about running games. Whether you're new or you've been running games for 10 years there's no shame in asking for advice, personally it's been over 8 years since I ran my first game and I still value feedback and advice that people have to give me. If other experienced GMs and DMs would like to join me in this endeavour then I welcome your assistance and input too.
Anyone new or old that wants to talk with other GM/DMs and maybe needs advice. Here is where to get it. We're a community of friendly GM/DMs who love to help each other out with suggestions and advice about anything that may be troubling you. I'm a 30+ year veteran of GM?DM and I still learn new things. So don't think you can't learn anything here. And for New GM/DMs having an experienced friend that might be able to help you with issues. It's even better when there are dozens.
