Taking place 5 years after Vampire Savior 2 when the Dark Mesiah was defeated by his own creation, this game is going to focus on the fate of the various members of the Darkstalkers cast and the aftermath of Jedah's actions.

There are three major story lines planned.

* The nobles of Makai politicking and battling for control of the demon world and the power ruling it would grant.

* The young monster hunters having to deal with a chaotic invasion of Earth by the monsters fleeing Makai.

* Those more benevolent of the monster people finding themselves unwanted and outcast from society, now having to find a new home and protect is from the frightened and angry humans who hold them responsible for what other monsters have done.

This will be a free-form game, although some dice rolls may be called in the case of direct conflict with other characters that cannot be worked out through general roleplaying and plot convenience.

This is intended to be a primarily character-driven game where character choice is going to matter a lot more than the overall metaplot. However, one in which the PCs start with very clear goals to accomplish and clear obstacles preventing them from achieving them with a significant cast of NPCs who will react to players decisions.
