Approximately four hundred years earlier marked the beginning of a great conflict that would be known as the Great Race War.   For 312 years, humanity and their allies struggled against the monstrous forces seeking to overwhelm them.   And even now, the effects of this titanic conflict can still be felt...some three generations later.

The characters find themselves drawn into events that slowly spiral out of control, threatening to reignite the war and plunge the continent into darkness.

This is a custom setting, basically pathfinder using the slayers magic system.   I'm looking for a group size around 6-8, and hope to use the game as the basis of a future to be released adventure path.

To RTJ: Please include a brief writing sample (around a paragraph) plus a name.   As the game is just starting, there's a thread available for the players to work out the party composition before the game actually starts.  Because the setting and system are a bit different than normal pathfinder, please review the campaign (or race/class) guide.
