It's the end of the world...maybe
Set mostly on Bois Blanc Island, Ontario and lies just above the mouth of the Detroit River.
Boblo Island Amusement Park was located there and ran from 1898 till it closed on September 30, 1993. For purposes of this story, the land was never sold and just left vacant until the world died in 2020.
Speaking of the death of the world, it was in late August when it happened. Late one night, well it was night time in our little area of the world, everything just went dark. There was no warning, no national disaster, no threats from other countries, it just happened. In a blink all the power went out and it never went back on.
As any movie about an end to civilization would tell, things only got worse. It started with riots, the downfall of basic law and government until the world became a wasteland. It only took five years.
On the Island two main groups have formed; the Scavengers and the Colonist. People come to island park of neither but it becomes inevitable that the world is not a place for those that stand completely alone.

Are you a Scavenger or a Colonist, maybe neutral as you come to the island but that won't last for long. Eventually you have to pick a side.
