Hello, and thank you for your interest in my ad!
A few people have commented that this game has a “Hunger Games” vibe to it, and I agree, but it is a whole different world with a different idea for the 'games.' One of the major differences is that the players will not fight against each other, but they go through extensive training and are taught to work as a team.
If you are interested in the game but not sure where to start, please send me a private message, and I can help you! I have a few ideas for players that need a little nudge with character creation.
They say there was a time when citizens had more freedom. People were able to decline immunizations for health, had religious freedoms, and even could choose how many children they had. The same individuals say that during those times sickness ran rampant through the country, hate and crime were everywhere, and the lands overpopulated - people had so many children that they had to use assistance from the government just to feed them.
It was during those times that Valport, previously known as the United States, was also divided 50 ways. The history books that hold this information are sacred and kept confined so they can preserve the information that the historians gleaned from them. There are new books now; books that gloss over the world before the war and go more in-depth about the 175 years since. Some whisper that the world is worse off, while others shout from the rooftops that it is a better place.
There are more rules, more regulations, and less freedom, but they remind us that there is also less sickness, less crime. Less freedom
Welcome to Valport.
It is here that a reality show known as
The Fruition Trials occur every three years.
There are three main focuses of these trials: mental, physical, and emotional. A majority of the time the latter two go hand and hand, but there are times that the devisers of the trials get creative and separate them completely. It is why, during training, the Mentors attempt to touch base on each one separately.
The setting for the Trials changes each time. One year, the contestants were in a densely wooded area, hot dessert planes, and another was a vacant ruin city. The challenges vary based on the setting. Some Trials focus on mental strengths, others physical, but one thing is always the same – the contestants will face the most twisted challenges that the devisers can create.
And it will either make them or break them.
Over the years, some have begun to suspect that the trials are not as randomly generated as the Devisors say but that there are a rhyme and reason behind the names that are chosen and the situations that they get put in.
The citizens of Valport are eager for the next Trials to begin. Rumor has it that it will be the best one yet.
