The Year is 1358 The Year of Shadows so much has happened in this year, you were brought to your knees some weeks ago when it seemed the Heaven all but revolted, tossing streaking stars that shot all across Faerun. The world shook with the power of it. Leaving in their wake disaster, destruction, and the revolt of nature. Things seem to have settled down, save for magic users who have noticed a distinct lack of complete control with their abilities, this has effected surprisingly ALL spell caster, Sorcerers included.

 Divine casters have found that fifth circle spells are harder to cast and it seems ninth level is all but out of the question. This goes for ALL Divine spells as well. Rumors were the Gods Walk the Realms.

Avatars combat each other across the world, doing battle over age long grudges, people being caught in between. In the wake of the void in the heavens, something dark has awoken under Faerun, and it will seek total destruction, when crops out right rot, when milk goes bad, and people turn on each other because wounds are become gangrenous and the gods do not answer the prayers of their faithful.

Chaos reigns true.

Still in these darkest of times is when heroism shines, will you take up the call, put an Elder Evil back in its place and save the world you have come to love and live in ?
