Five years ago the kingdom of Ancalia was a kingdom with a humble people devoted to its king and church. The orders of knights defended its borders from the scourges of barbaric sea raiders and kept justice within them.

Five years ago it all ended in a cataclysm when the Night Roads opened across the nation. Uncreated monsters destroyed the cities while the Hollowing Plague sent cannibalistic madness and undeath through its population.

Now only a remnant of the people remain in hidden outposts while Uncreated rule the cities and hordes of zombie husks roam the lowlands. Into this landscape has arrived the Godbound, ordinary people blessed with divine power through fate or chance.

With the power to change the world it is up to the Godbound to either save their people or remake Ancalia in their image.
